It is an ambitious plan, but I feel they are doing their very best to achieve something pretty unusual. Hydro Flask based out of Oregon, in the USA, was founded in back in 2009, when the company launched their first 'all-insulated' bottle into the outdoor market.
From their rather modest beginnings, sales exploded with hydration-loving fans declaring it a huge hit and with over 1 million in sales by the year 2011. Things seemed as though they could only go from strength to strength.
Since then the company have continually strived to bring new and innovative solutions to the customers. Introducing insulated caps, to the lightest weight bottles in the insulated category.
Their overall dedication to their fantastic products and cultural identity remains their number one focus, and now the company offers well over 100 products in four different categories. Those categories include hydration, coffee, beer & wine and an extensive range of food items.
From humble beginnings, the company don’t like to brag about their successes, but it is clear to see they are incredibly proud of their fantastic accomplishments. What did I think of the bottle?
I was lucky enough to obtain a 21oz Standard Mouth bottle which came in striking, Pacific Blue. On first impressions, it looked like a great container, big enough in size, sturdy and also really stylish. I liked it!!

The bottle was extremely versatile and could comfortably fit into my backpack or be carried around when I was at work or generally out and about. The handy flexi cap at the top of the bottle is a perfect design, as it not only securely keeps everything inside, but the strong loop at the top can easily be attached to other things. Like an attachment on your rucksack or fixed to another object, like a belt for instance.
Hydro Flask has made this bottle with durable 18/8 Pro-Grade Stainless Steel. Which ultimately means the bottle is light and also very durable. Holding it in your hand for the first time gives the impression that this is a quality product.

I found this to be true, and after testing the product both with cold water and hot coffee, I can confidently say that the TEMPSHIELD™ was exceptional. It allowed me to enjoy drinks many hours after initial preparation.

Would I recommend Hydro Flask?
I was delighted to receive a Hydro Flask, and I have thoroughly enjoyed it being by my side during days in the Great Outdoors. It is brilliant, and I cannot stress how good this bottle is.
Of course, at times I'm the worlds worse sceptic, and I'm not always convinced by what the label says or indeed advertising.
Although with that said, I am hugely impressed with the water bottle and can only heap praise on this innovative product and forward-thinking company.
To give a fair representation of this bottle, I did put it through its paces in a variety of ways. Filling it with hot and cold liquid, carrying it in the outdoors, my travels, a camping trip and also using it at work. Overall, it stood up to a lot and was incredibly impressive throughout.
If you are someone, a little like myself. A person who loves the outdoors, always on the go and ideally want something reliable to hand and does exactly what it says it will, then Hydro Flask is worth a look.

Innovative company with great ideas and I'm sure there is more to come.

Cons
Love the range of colours but would be great to see some flag prints, outdoor prints and more personalised items in the future.
I would love to see a GIANT Hydro Flask possible with a tap at the bottom.
